LATEST ELITE PREMIER CAN CATER FOR LIMITLESS RENAL DIALYSIS SYSTEMS
|
|
As part of its comprehensive range of water purification systems for renal dialysis, Purite Ltd has launched a new range of centralised reverse osmosis (RO) systems, which have been designed to cater for multiple dialysis stations in hospital renal departments. Called Elite Premier, the systems are capable of providing flow rates up to 2,500 litres/hour, simultaneously supplying up to 40 dialysis machines. Modular in construction, the range is capable of providing a limitless number of dialysis machines as multiple RO units can be combined to increase capacity, as required. In addition, the Elite Plus incorporates variable consumption based control, enabling its performance to be automatically adjusted in line with demand, depending on the number of patients being treated at any time. Elite Premier is available in both single and double pass versions, with the latter being particularly designed for higher purity requirements, such as fluid replacement, where the quality of the water is especially critical. Furthermore, Elite Premier offers complete heat disinfection of the entire system including the membranes and ring main. Unlike conventional reverse osmosis systems that purge the residual concentrate stream continuously during operation, the Elite Premier only removes concentrated waste matter when it reaches a pre-determined level, making it significantly more economical to operate. The system is microprocessor controlled, with a menu-driven graphical interface for straightforward operation. The system can also incorporate a modem for remote monitoring and reporting. The range offers flexible control options allowing systems to be operated from either a local control or via a control panel which can be sited remotely. In the unlikely event of a problem, all system settings are stored on a 'smart' card so that the correct system operating parameters can be quickly and easily restored, thus minimising down-time. |
