maintenance and servicing
Once your water purification system has been specified and commissioned, it must be regularly serviced and maintained. Without on-going maintenance, it is virtually impossible to pre-empt potential problems, resulting in downtime and unnecessary cost.
Typical routine maintenance includes checking the Reverse Osmosis (RO), regularly changing the pre-treatment consumables, and replacing filter elements. RO membranes generally require chemical cleaning every three to six months, depending on usage. And to maintain microbiological integrity, the system must be chemically sanitised every 6 to 12 months.
Purite now offers a ‘24/7’ service contract so that water quality and continuity of supply are assured. That means system specification is maintained, frequency of breakdowns is limited or avoided completely and, ultimately, system life is extended.
